Grover deals low damage against tanky comps, especially against shields. Run a double tank line-up to take away a lot of Grover's pressure.

If a Grover is by himself, this can give any champion with decent mobility a chance to close the distance between them and Grover. The closer you get, the more damage you do and the less damage Grover does. Don’t forget about the vine though!

Grover is NOT CC immune during his ultimate, however if he is stunned/chickened it will not interrupt his healing AOE.

Don't embrace a fight when he is using his ultimate. It heals a lot of life points of all nearby enemies

Grovers axes do the more damage the farther they are flying. Don't get sniped!
