If you play as a flank and your target is Sha Lin using Desert Shadow as a legendary card, buy illuminate to counter him.

Wall peaking against a skilled sha lin will get you killed, instead work as a team to take him down, do not underestimate sha lin

Don't forget that Resilience is a thing. If you find yourself at the end of an Impaler Arrow, try buying Resilience and watch the stun duration become non-existent.

Sha'Lin is a slow champion. Always try to get him by surprise and use the map to your advantage. He can't escape!

If the tip of his arrow shimmers, he is preparing an Impaler Arrow. Avoid being pinned to the wall at all costs; his Planted will do 2400 damage before you can even move again, and likely another 2400 to follow, killing anyone.
