Bait Torvalt into using his Recharge by activating your shield, deactivate your shield and hook him, it will stop his recharge and not reset his cool down, leaving him open to damage for a long period of time.

Not much to say here, Buck has a huge hitbox so he is easy to hook, his attacks are pretty weak as well so if you hook him between you and your friends he is cannon fodder. Take Cauterize to absolutely crush his dreams.

In order to avoid his snake stun, use your escape ability to the left or right. Don't draw back, since his snake travels much longer than his LMB attack.

Beware of his ultimate, although he is not immune to CC and is moving slow while using it, it leaves you a small window to strike him, watch out for every indicators which indicates that he is near you, if it's a bad match up leaving is easier.
